With the Soundcaster Fusion Series, Meinl offers a complete range of modern cymbal sounds which integrate perfectly into today’s popular styles in rock and metal. High quality materials are united with modern crafting processes, resulting in cymbals that have not only the sound, but also the look to impress.
High quality materials and modern computer technology
The Soundcaster Fusion Cymbals are made from B12 Bronze, an alloy consisting of 88% copper and 12% tin. This mix makes the basis for the bright, powerful and assertive sound of these cymbals. Through high-tech computer guided hammering, the Soundcaster Fusions are made into high-quality instruments.
Hybrid-Finish for Sound and Optic
A special feature of the Soundcaster Fusion cymbals is the hybrid finish: the middle of the cymbal features a non-lathed brilliant finish; in contrast the outer edge of the cymbal which is lathed. This combination of the Soundcaster Fusion cymbal produces (in contrast to the Soundcaster Custom Series) more “Wash” with shorter sustain.
The regular/brilliant hybrid finish gives the Soundcaster Fusion cymbals not only a powerful sound, but also makes the Soundcaster Fusion real head-turners, accented by the laser engraved logos.
