The MXR Tom Morello Power 50 Overdrive pedal allows you to tap into the raging amp-based overdrive Tom Morello uses to fuel his signature tone. Despite being one of the most innovative guitarists from the last 30 years, Morello’s guitar rig has always been famously simple, relying on a trusty amp overdrive for his gnarly sonic signature. The Tom Morello Power 50 Overdrive re-creates the preamp stages of Morello’s amplifier and gives you the same tone, gain, and presence controls. Complete with a built-in effects loop (placed before the presence and tone circuits, just like on Morello’s amp), the MXR Tom Morello Power 50 Overdrive pedal puts a half-stacks worth of tonal tenacity on your pedalboard.
