The Audio-Technica ATM350PL aims to rid recital halls of bulky mic stands one piano at a time. This tiny condenser mic mounts neatly to the metal frame of a concert grand using a finish-safe magnetic mounting system. Its low-distortion, full-range pickup faithfully captures the brilliant harmonics and powerful bass of your instrument all the way down to E1. And though the ATM350PL is designed for solo use, it’s even more impressive in pairs, offering a rich stereo field that can be panned for a lifelike listening experience. A flexible 9″ gooseneck helps the ATM350PL find the right balance between bass and treble strings.
