VoiceTone X1 gives you tinny megaphones, telephonics, amp effects, and intense vocal distortion, right under your foot (or at your fingertips, with TC’s optional MP-75 mic). Although it fits the form factor, the “stompbox” moniker is actually misleading: as a member of TC Helicon’s VoiceTone lineup, VoiceTone X1 is strictly studio-grade – complete with a clean, quiet mic preamp and studio-quality A/D conversion. Vocal distortion used to be something you wanted to avoid. Not any more.
