BOSS’s VO-1 Vocoder pedal lets guitarists achieve vocal and synthesizer effects with their electric guitars. Four modes – Vintage, Advanced, Talk Box, and Choir – take your guitar tone from warm analog synth sounds to sounding like an army of harmonized guitars. Plug a microphone in and you can control the parameters with your own voice. The Talk Back mode is a favorite at Music Bliss for how good it sounds without all the extra gear associated with some talkbox designs. And the onboard effects loop lets you get even more tonal options from your VO-1 Vocoder.
