Building off the Electro-Harmonix Freeze and Superego pedals, the Deep Freeze is a superlative sonic sampler and sustainer sure to inspire! Like the original Freeze, this pedal allows you to sample and hold (or freeze, rather) a section of your playing, creating shimmering pads, harmonic backdrops, and more. Three distinct modes provide a seemingly endless level of experimentation, from layered latched chords to momentary melodic whispers to even a mode partially dictated by your playing dynamics. Moreover, the Deep Freeze boasts dedicated Dry/Effect knobs, Glissando, and a multipurpose Speed/Layer knob that changes function based on your mode. And while the Deep Freeze packs far more sonic sculpting control than any previous Freeze pedal, its also the smallest one yet the Deep Freeze features Electro-Harmonixs Pico-series miniature enclosure, allowing you to pop this pedal onto your board while taking up minimal real estate.
